We'll find other things to worry about after the GC. However, I think a focus on learning/self improvement, health (exercise and meditation should go a long way..although i haven't really spent as much time as i should on this) and most importantly on financial objectives should help.
Most of us are here to secure our financial futures. Focus on good investing practices, learning how to invest both your money and in yourself. The worst thing we can do is to be paralyzed in thought and action by USCIS processes.

This guy is a deshi employer. He is on H1 so he is a silent partner & that why scratching his head.
There are attorneys who will charge only after recovering money. The stupid employer can be sued for lost wages along with civil penalties from which the attorney's fee will be paid.
You can view my past posts in IV, I am not Desi employer but I may become very soon to employ myself (very close to get GC :-) )
Anyway have you gone through yourself with same situation/tension as OP going through or do you know someone closely who have gone through? Have you dealt with attorney yourself?
If that employer sue you, definitely you can counter sue for violation of wage related or h1b related rules and attorney will be the best person to advice you on that. make sure you go to an attorney who practice employement laws and have knowledge or have some other attorney in the same firm who deals in immi related matter. Yeah, I know my life sucks. I have a priority date of Jan 2003. Got filed under EB3 even though did MS here... I begged and pleaded that they atleast send it on Jan 28th. For god's sake, I was qualified all the way since June 1st. I gave all the documents necessary by June 6th itself. Well, but they had to file on 29th.

The views expressed in the context of sending grammatically correct letters is appreciated. As such, it would make sense if we can send the same letter, which would not only emphasize the same point but would be grammatically correct as well :)

It is true that country quota is a discrimination. But when you just try to remove the country quota other country persons are going to oppose as they will be impacted if country quota is removed. But if you try with other agenda like recapture then opposition may not be strong and also every one will get benefit.

Any volunteer for the letter. We will need to move fast ! God knows what Oct bulletin has in store for us.
My biggest worry is that the bulletin may show retrogressed dates and the dates will stay there as it is till last quarter when visa flow will take place.

Did any one discussed this with an attorney. May be a conference call with Mr. Rajiv Khanna ? Can anyone from IV core member respond what is their take on such a class action. Will we have the support from IV if such lawsuit is filled.

They often take money from the H-1B worker to file the petition and not pay them when they are on bench - making them vulnerable to USCIS audits. People spending time on this thread, why not spend 5 minutes to print and sign a letter, then spend 82c and mail one copy each to USCIS and IV.
Do you not like the idea of 3 year long EAD's and more job portability which will come from a revised definition of "same or similar" job description??

I am a physician working in underserved areas in MN. I am greatly appreciated
in my community. I regularly get invited to Christmas parties by local congressmen. I never attend those due to my family obligations. However, this year I will attend and educate my congressmen as much as I can.
I am sure there are lot of physicians, like me affected by retrogression. Eventhough we live in remote areas, we can do whtever we can.
I am also willing to join in MN local chapter of IV. Any MN members kindly send me PM.

It's just hidden but when you do export to csv it shows everything. This is not secure. Please be careful with sharing your phone # on public domains.

However, keeping this concern in mind that may prevent some members from supporting, i have removed the email ID and ph# column from the public spreadsheet. I will maintain a separate spreadsheet with list of email ID's and ph# so that we can get in touch as soon as it is time for some real action.

Even though right now FB2 is not far behind the gap will progressively increase due to post given below. Consider 2 glasses half full. If you pour 50% water from 1 glass to another 1 glass will be 75% full(EB) and other glass will be 25%full(FB).
Our intention is to findout if CIS interpretation is correct. If spouse can stay in the country with EAD and AP and if Primary gets GC first. It won't matter much becos, that EAD will not have any strings attached on same or similar etc. So we should be OK.
