Is that even if I-140 is not approved (pending), after I-485 is pending for 180 days, one can change jobs using the EAD?

Read about the AC21 analysis - You can change with either H1 or EAD. You can also do so before 180 days, but not without some risk (case by case basis).

My husband's I485 was approved yesterday but mine and my son's, no change.
I got the magic mail today ---Card production ordered!!! Just for me.
The status of my wife's I485 remains the same ---> Received and pending?

Also, keep in mind that CIS has said they are coming out with a regulation on AC21 sometime soon. There is no telling how favorable that will be.

I also had submitted with my I-94 attached. I forgot to remove it. It was stapled and I got it back with my old passport. So dont worry.

Putting dollar amount to the signature is something like hierarchy system. People contributed more are on higher rank than others. I am not saying you should not put how much you have donated. But good will be to invite people to join IV. People are our strength. The signature should read
"IV IS VOLUNTEER ORGNIZATION, HELP YOURSELF TO HELP IV. SO DON'T ASK WHAT IV HAS DONE FOR YOU BUT ASK WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO SUPPORT YOURSELF FIRST AND THEN IV.
MEMBERS CAN EITHER RAISE MEMBERSHIP, CONTRIBUTE 5 MINUTES EVERYDAY TO CALL SENATOR/CONGRESS MEMBER OR CONTRIBUTE.
MY CONTRIBUTION SO FAR IS XXXYYYZZZ"
And this should be the standard signature on everyone post. This way it looks like everyone is in the game.

Is there any way to know if employer has revoked your 140. I have an approved 140 & pending 485. After filing 485 I left my company before completing 180 days. Its more than 9 months since I left my employer. Will the status change on USCIS web if 140 was revoked.

I recently renewed our passports. I removed the I-94 (Which were stapled) to the passports and kept those with me, just to make sure it doesn't get lost. There was no question asked from Indian embassy regarding I-94, which is not the requirement, on the website.

Relax... I have seen many people who bought PDs from consultants paying 10k and got GCs too. Don't worry. If you post these kind of threads, it make people waiting for years more frustrating. Be happy for your luck. Go chill. Don't keep saying you are afraid and all.
I can empathize. I might me more luckier than you, and there are people *luckier* than me. (You know what I mean..) But, if for some reason I don't get my GC, and you get your GC in a few years, me being lucky to start with is of no use. Nothing is sure till GC is on-hand for anyone.
So, I would appreciate if someone could let me know if there are any disadvantages process-wise when it comes to I-485 adjudication on a pre-approved labor.

I too received an email couple of days back that my 140 which was approved in Dec 05 has been transfered from VSC to TSC. Wonder whats going on :confused:

Job title doesn't have to be the same. The requirement is "same or similar" job. I am in the IT networking...network admin, system admin, network engineer, system engineer, IT consultant, network consultant are all the same. The key is that the job description is similar...there are no guidelines basically its all common sense. For you to go from programmer analyst to development is perfectly ok.
I've not done AC21 before. But if I do, here's what I'll do...Compare your labor description with the new job requirements. They should be similar. Prepare a AC21 letter that list the common and general requirements and send it to the USCIS. They are no official forms and some people even say that this letter is not necessary. However, I think it is important to cover your behind. Make sure this letter is certified, registered so that if anything happens you can prove that you did inform them and ported your I-140 to the new company.
